Jillian has over 17 years of experience working in child protection counselling services, sexual assault services and services that specialise in the treatment of children & young people who exhibit problematic sexual behaviour and families who have experienced sibling abuse.

Jillian has undergone many hours of specialist training in order to provide assessments and therapeutic intervention with clients who have experienced trauma and abuse. Jillian is committed to providing clients with a confidential, safe space to begin to process their individual experiences.

Jillian has been contracted by a range of agencies such as, NSW Family & Community Services, NSW Aged and Disability Services, ACT Community Services and a range of Out of Home Care Services, to provide assessments and ongoing therapeutic intervention.

Jillian is an accredited member of the Australian Association of Social Workers (AASW), the Australian and New Zealand Association for the Treatment of Sexual Abuse (ANZATSA) and the Association for the Treatment of Sexual Abuse (ATSA – USA). Jillian is a member of the Association for the Play Therapy (APT). Jillian has completed a Graduate Diploma of Art & Play Applications in Therapy. Jillian is a registered Art & Play Clinician with the Academy of Art & Play Therapy.

Jillian is registered with Medicare and clients are able to claim a rebate for therapeutic services under the “Better Access to Mental Health Services” program. Jillian is an Authorised Children’s Court Clinician with the NSW Children’s Court Clinic and she is an approved counsellor with the Victims Services Program.
